About Me

My name is Grace Sheppard and I am a class of 2026 Combo guard. I attend Masuk High School in Monroe, Connecticut.

I have been playing basketball since 3rd grade and since then I have had the dream of playing basketball at the college level. I am a very hard worker on the court and in the classroom as I excel in all honors and AP classes. My strengths on the court would be my ability to score at three levels, attack gaps, and guard on and off the ball efficiently. My specialty is the perimeter shot as I can knock down the three very consistently. I pride myself on having a high basketball IQ as I am always looking to create for my teammates.  

At my AAU program, DTX, I play on the 17u national girls team as well as the 15/16u boys teams. I have been playing 17u since 8th grade which prepared me for any competition. The head coach of my program, David Taylor, played and coached division one basketball at the Air Force Academy. His coaching style brings levels of discipline and intensity to the program which has made me a mentally tough player that can handle all obstacles. 

I volunteer frequently with Connecticut's special Olympics program and enjoy giving back to my community.
